Also thrilled that I was able to co-host the world premiere of the video last week at The Spotted Pig restaurant. It was a really beautiful night, we watched the video while sipping cocktails and eating yummy snacks and veggies from A Moveable Garden. The brilliant Mia Davis from The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics came in from Boston to host the event as well. And our other sponsor, co-host was the new and amazing skin care line Tata Harper. The event was so crowded that we had to show the video two times! That was sort-of my dream for the night, that people would be lining up to watch a video about toxins in our personal care.
The event was a huge success and I'm so glad were able to put together such a fabulous welcome for such an important video.

I'm sooooo excited about this new video coming out next week!
It is a short, hard-hitting video about toxic chemicals in cosmetics and their impact on our health.

  The Story of Cosmetics, a 7-minute film from the good people at The Story of Stuff Project, Free Range Studios and (of course) the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, launches July 21.
